Dethklok : The Doomstar Requiem — A Klok Opera (2013)
Dethklok is a virtual band featured in the Adult Swim program Metalocalypse. The brainchild of Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha, Dethklok originally was intended as a satire of heavy metal, but the quality of the show’s music exceeded all expections. The music is written and performed by Brendon Small, with others needed for live concerts and albums.

Leaves’ Eyes : Symphonies of the Night (2013)
When Liv Kristine and Alexander Krull married, little did they know their nuptials were the first step toward creating one of the more popular symphonic metal bands today. Leaves’ Eyes combines symphonic and folk elements with "beauty and the beast" vocals into soaring epics centered on Scando-Germanic lore.

Heavy Metal Valhalla:

Death : Leprosy (1988)
After having their minds blown by the Seven Churches album, Chuck Schuldiner and Kam Lee changed the name of their band and created the roadmap for modern death metal. The band’s lineup changed frequently over the years and the music grew more progressive with each album, but Death remains one of the most influential bands of this subgenre.
